Sunderland Photographic Association (SPA) was founded in 1888 and back then the pictures were all black and white just like the image above.  The club has embraced advances in technology from lantern slides right through to today’s digital cameras and our members produce both monochrome and colour images.  The information and pictures on this site are representative of the wide photographic taste of our members.  All ages and ability levels are warmly welcomed.
